Lily Fleming, Page Editor

Lily Fleming is a sophomore at Harrisonburg High School and this is her second year with Newsstreak as a page editor. Lily enjoys spending time with friends and traveling. Lily also plays club soccer and soccer at the high school. In her free time, she loves to watch Netflix, go on long drives, go and runs and go to the gym. After she graduates, she might go to college, but her big goal is to travel the world.

Social studies teacher Cara Walton’s favorite toy from her childhood is her stuffed Garfield. “When I was in probably 4th and 5th grade, I absolutely loved Garfield, [and] I [would] read the comics in the Sunday paper and my mom also got me the books,” Walton said. “Garfield was retired when I went to college [because] he was falling apart, but I still have him because he will always hold a special place for me as something I loved that gave me comfort.
