My experience on my high-school yearbook staff

Briefly describe your most rewarding experience related to journalism.
I have several students all four years of high school which is unusual, I get to see them at the beginning and watch them grow throughout high school

Who are your journalistic role models?
Yearbook and newspaper- Susan Esmassy
Bob Woodward in the Washington Posy
Gene Weingarten Washington post columnist

What bit of wisdom would you give a journalism advisor?
The more students are in charge the better and easier your job will be….more the students will learn and the paper will be better

Describe one journalism student who really changed your life?
Well every year I am reminded of the radically amount of different personalities, my staff is quite different every year.

Describe the funniest event ever taken place in your journalism room or something related to Valerie Kibler?
I worked on the DC convention with her; she did an extraordinary job on that project.

In our classroom we have a separate production room, about six years ago I was walking through the door, and a male student was demonstrating what a lap dance is to a younger female student.
