Nico Samatar is a freshman at Harrisonburg High School and a staff reporter for Newsstreak. He loves to bake cakes, muffins and cookies. He also loves to play soccer and is planning to try out for the HHS soccer team. He also loves to hangout with his friends after school and on the weekends. He recently travelled to Europe and would love to go again, sometime. The thing he loved most about his trip was the food.

Junior Sid Tandel holds his cat, Squeaky. "I like Squeaky because he's really nice sometimes but he also leaves me alone when I don't want to deal with him. He's also a Hemingway cat so he has cute little thumbs," Tandel said. Tandel prefers cats since they are less messy and needy overall.
