Ariyan Koyee

Ariyan Koyee, Staff Reporter

Ariyan Koyee is a freshman and this is her first year on the Newsstreak staff as a staff reporter. Ariyan is in marching band and enjoys playing volleyball. Outside of school, she likes to hang out with friends and binge-watch shows on Netflix. Ariyan is Kurdish and can speak the language fluently. In the future, she would like to become an astrophysicist and help discover new things in space.

Studies show that 56 percent of students deem homework is the principle cause of stress. Stress can lead to fatigue, a lack of sleep and even weight loss. Teachers may believe they aren't assigning too much, but homework from all the teachers a student has will add up to a draining amount.
