Q&A with Josiah Leach

Q: What school did you go to before?

A: “I went to Redeemer Classical School.”

Q: How many people were in your grade at Redeemer?

A: “There were 13 people in my class.”

Q: How was the transition to such a populated school?

A: “It wasn’t super hard because some of the classes are big, but none of my classes are much bigger than 20 people.”

Q: Who is your favorite musical artist and why?

A: “Mumford and sons because they are a very talented band.”

Q: What has been your favorite part of Harrisonburg High School?

A: “Debate. My debate class is small.”

Q: What’s one thing that scares you and why?

A: “Spiders. I don’t like all of their legs.”

Q: What was your favorite part of summer?

A: “I guess going to the beach.”

Q: What’s an interesting fact about you?

A: “I have four older siblings.”

Q: What sibling are you in your family?

A: “I’m the youngest, but I don’t mind it that much.”

Q: Are you involved in any school activities?

A: “I’m in the STEM academy. I might do tennis, I don’t know.”

Q: What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

A: “Riding the intimidator at King’s Dominion.”

Q: What pet peeves do you have?

A: “My biggest pet peeve is when my family members don’t organize the dishes in the cabinets.”

Q: What’s your favorite book and why?

A: “ The Lord of the Rings books because the world is so detailed.”

Q:  What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do?

A: “Go to Europe.”

Q: Are you an early bird or a night owl?

A: “I’m an early bird.”

Q: What is your ideal way to spend a weekend?

A: “My ideal weekend would be spent relaxing and reading a good book.”

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

A: “I would live near a port city.”

Q: If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: “Macaroni and cheese.”

A: “I am an introvert.”
