Every Monday, a selection of the Newsstreak’s high school journalism students have been passing their journalistic knowledge on to the next cycle of students via workshops with Harrisonburg middle schoolers. Co-Online-Editor-in-Chiefs Luke Gibson, Fernando Gamboa Peña and Rafael Snell-Feikema led a special workshop on photojournalism and, armed with new knowledge, the kids were assigned to take as many pictures as they could to submit to a contest.
