This year there are 6 freshman girls on the varsity soccer team. One of these girls is Frankie Ludwig. This is Ludwig’s second season playing at HHS. Frankie has been playing soccer for 6 years and is excited for her first year on varsity.

¨I am excited to play with my sister because we have never gotten to play on the same team before and im really looking forward to it because it’s fun to be good,¨ said Ludwig.

Ludwig thinks the environment of the girls soccer team is one of the best parts of the sport.

¨I like the environment and the people and it’s just like a fun, nice sport,¨ said Ludwig.

Ludwig plays several different positions, but she enjoys being center mid.

¨I like to play center mid and stuff like that but right now walters is putting me right back which is not good,¨ said Ludwig.

Frankie starts her game with a good mindset so she can continue this mindset throughout the game even with situations.

Ïf I make a mistake, I just need to tell myself that it’s okay and no one cares, and that I can just giggle it off,¨ said Ludwig.

At practice Ludwig enjoys playing games with her teammates and one game specifically is handball.

¨I really like playing handball and fun games like that because I am always giggling,¨ said Ludwig.
