Sierra Cain, a 10th grader at HHS, dreams of following her older sister’s, Mariah Cains’s, path by playing basketball in college. Inspired by Mariah Cain’s achievements at Roanoke College, Sierra Cain practices tirelessly off and on the court, hoping to make her mark on the team. With each dribble and shot, she envisions herself in a college jersey, determined to prove that she can reach the same heights as her sister. As she navigates the challenges of high school, Cain’s passion for the game fuels her ambition, pushing her to work harder and stay focused on her goal. “My dad has always been my motivation since I was young, he showed me the way to succeed in every sport I try,” said Sierra Cain.
