The Goldbergs; they’re family friendly and just plain silly

PHOTO-showsheet_Goldbergs_Couch-1280It’s a new show on ABC about the Goldbergs; a family in the ‘80s who have a hard time getting along with each other. They argue over everything.  I thought it was pretty funny and family friendly. Most of the humor is family orientated. It’s the kind of show that you would watch at night with your family. The Goldbergs doesn’t really have inappropriate moments, so almost anyone can watch this very silly show. The family in the show is made up of  Murray Goldberg played by Jeff Garlin who is married to  Beverly  played by Wendi McLendon-Covey. Together they have children, Erica Goldberg, the older sister is played by Hayley Orrantia, Barry the middle brother played by Troy Gentile, and his younger brother Adam is played by Sean Giambrone. Murray never tells his son (Barry) he loves him directly, instead he says things like “Your not such a total moron all the time,”. At one point of the episode Barry is towed away while inside the car because he refused to get out of the car, which caused a city-wide traffic jam. While being towed away he yells “I regret nothing!”. I loved the show overall and I might keep watching it every once in a while.

I enjoyed The Goldbergs very much because it made me laugh at most parts of the show. The Goldbergs is that kind of show that you look forward to watch and have a good time laughing. I will keep watching it and I would recommend it to other people to watch it and have fun. You can catch The Goldbergs on ABC every Tuesday at 8 p.m..
