Students auditioned in September for the South Central Senior Regional Orchestra (SCSRO). They were judged by a panel filled with music educators.
The four students are sophomore Claudia Allemeier and seniors Shana Al Sindi, Cindy Liu, and Johanna Mayfield.
Allemeier is Viola (5th chair), Al Sindi is Viola (15th chair) and Liu is Oboe (1st chair), Mayfield is Bassoon (1st chair).
The chair number is based on the audition scores, the first chair is the best audition ranked by the panel and then the numbers count down.
The four students are now eligible to audition for All-Virginia Band & Orchestra in February.
