Spirit days kick off with ‘gear up’ day

Spirit days will kick off with a day dedicated to college or future career apparel, Sept.20. The next spirit day, which will be the following day, is a quinceanera or cultural celebration. Students are encouraged to wear either their quinceanera dress or their cultural apparel. Sept.25 will be pajama day and the following day will be babies vs. senior citizens. Underclassmen dress like toddlers or babies and upperclassmen dress as senior citizens or middle-aged adults. Sept.27 is jersey-themed and twin day or teacher look-alike day will be Sept.28. The last spirit day will be class color wars. Freshmen are black, sophomores are red and juniors are blue. Lastly, seniors are white.

Homecoming this year will be held Sept.30 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the school. Students must arrive by 9 p.m.
