Spirit Week themes have been finalized

Spirit Week themes have been finalized

The Blue Streaks get ready for the upcoming Spirit Week in October.

In the week leading up homecoming, you can expect to see the entire student body getting geared up to show their HHS spirit. The dates are October 15 through to 19, so mark your calendar! And for those who like to plan ahead – good news, the themes for this year have been decided. Here’s what to expect:

Monday – Crazy hat day. It’s not hat day, it’s crazy hat day. Leave your baseball caps at home, and bring your best 3-foot top hat instead.

Tuesday – Decades day. For those still living in the 90s, this is your day to demonstrate. 80s, 70s, 60s, pick a decade and be creative.

Wednesday – Sophistication day. Yes sir! Put on your best dress or waistcoat and roll up to school like it’s a formal dinner party. Don’t expect the cafeteria menu to change, though.

Thursday – Athletic day. Get ready to see some serious team pride here. Jerseys, jackets, or just a tracksuit. Exhibit what athletic means to you.

Friday – Blue and white day. HHS! Go Streaks! The homecoming game is getting closer, wear blue and white to show we’re all about winning. Or join the Red Sea and get swept away by the school spirit.
