Muncy uses quarantine to redecorate room

Sophomore Ellie Muncy took quarantine as an opportunity to redo her room, which she has been wanting to do since last summer. Muncy had grown out of her pink walls that were done when she was eleven years old.

“I used to have a bright pink room [that] I decided to paint when I was around 11 years old,” Muncy said. “Now that I am 15 years old, the pink colored walls don’t interest me anymore, [so] I decided to paint them light grey.”

Muncy made a plan for how she was going to do her room the week before she did it. It took Muncy about three days to give her room a makeover with the help of her mother.

“It took about three days to paint and clean my room. My mom helped me [and] we had planned it the week before [we did it]. I moved my bed from the middle of my room to the corner for more space and it opened up more space,” Muncy said.

Muncy loves her new room and believes it was a perfect change for her.

“I have no regrets; I love it,” Muncy said. “ My favorite part is the colored walls.”
