Review: Season 4 premiere of The Walking Dead creates anticipation among viewers

Hunter Manzano, Staff Reporter

the-walking-dead-posterThe Walking Dead, an AMC original drama series that has swept across the nation, follows a group of survivors holding on to their bearings as they struggle through a merciless plague. Constantly losing members of their group to “walkers”, their numbers are rapidly decreasing. They learn new skills and tricks everyday on how to deal with the infected and what actually happens to them after being infected.

If anything could go wrong at any point in the story, it will probably end up happening. This factor is what makes the show so exciting and captivating. The audience thinks everything is okay, when suddenly someone is bitten or a “herd of walkers” moves in. People tune in to watch the next episode, or the next season, because they’re put into the characters lives and the end of each episode leaves you hanging. I think people will come back to watch the fourth season because they’ve seen how well the producer did with the first three seasons, and are excited to see what he can come up with next. The fourth season will premiere October 13th on AMC at nine p.m. EST.
