March 11-13, 12  members of HOSA – Future Health Professional spent the weekend in Williamsburg, VA at the Virginia HOSA State Leadership Conference.

For nine of the students, it was their first time participating in this conference.  Seniors Maya Waid (President) and Juju Butler (Region 5 VP) were on the Executive Council that helped run the conference. Junior Sarah Hussein was elected as the new State President at the conference.

All students attending competed in at least one competitive event and multiple members from the high school placed.

All members who placed first, second or third are now eligible to compete in the International Leadership Conference from Jun 22-26 in Nashville, Tennessee.
