The National Football League is quickly settling out after a whirlwind of a weekend. Pulling ahead into the Conference Championship round of the playoffs are the New England Patriots, winning 45 to 10 over the Denver Broncos, the Baltimore Ravens winning 20 to 13 over the Houston Texans, the New York Giants winning 37 to 20 over the Green Bay Packers, and finally, the San Francisco 49ers winning 36 to 32 over the New Orleans Saints. All of these games have eventually lead up to the question, who is going to be playing in 2012’s Super Bowl Sunday?
After a quick turn of events last Sunday night, the Patriots and the Giants are looking for yet another game in the Super Bowl. The Patriots pulled off the win by three against the Ravens, who kicked a terrible field goal, which destroyed their chances of going into overtime. The Giants also won by three in overtime against the 49ers. After losing Super Bowl XLII in 2008 to the Giants, the Patriots are hoping to dominate the field with their winning defense. In my mind, if the Patriots can play like they did in the game against the Bronco’s, they might have this game. However, the Giants have slowly pulled themselves out of the pack and risen to higher standards. After performing spectacularly in the overtime game against the 49ers, this team definitely has a chance of winning yet another Superbowl.

This is a rematch game from the last Super Bowl that the two teams met in. All offense and the Giants will try to keep the winning streak running. The Redskins beat the G. Men. Earlier this season the Giants beat the Patriots 24-20. Tough game but Go Patriots 24- 21.

If Tom Brady plays at his absolute best, the Patriots will come out on top. Their defense may be bad but they can play well if the offense can back them up.
