    It’s just a starting point, but the idea is kind of obvious: in general, the more time you spend doing something the better you will be at doing it. The challenge is making sure “instructional time” is truly “academic learning time” and not la-la land time.

    Good to see a frank exchange between Mr. Shaver and a student journalist!
