Yesterday, I had my very first Ham’s cookie skillet experience. And I have to say, it was pretty darn amazing. My life is officially complete.
I’ve heard these things were great, but it was better than great. It was phenomenal. Incredible. Absolutely mind-blowing. And a whole slew of other descriptive words.
For the uneducated few out there who do not know what a cookie skillet is, allow me to enlighten you; a cookie skillet is a wonderful concoction consisting of soft, mushy chocolate chip cookie half-baked to perfection, and served sizzling hot on a skillet (hence the name). The doughy cookie is topped off with french vanilla ice cream, gobs of whipped cream and drizzled chocolate sauce. It requires at least two people to finish, takes a toll on your stomach and makes you feel like a glutton, but it’s all worth it.
If you have never tried a cookie skillet, let me tell you, you are missing out. I highly recommend that you indulge in this dessert at least once in your life. And with a $5.99 price tag attached, it is easily splitable and a real bargain.

The cookie skillet at Hams is extra small. The skillet is like 1/2 cm deep. I would pay only $3.99 at most. You don’t get the bang for your buck, but it is good.
