Early voting for the March primary begins, Jan.19. Primaries are when voters choose their preferred party’s candidate to move on to the general elections. The polls will be open for voting from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m, on the day of the primary. The Voting Precincts website gives the exact location of voting depending on where the location of the voter is. The location for Harrisonburg early voting is in the basement of City Hall in room 012.
The main eligibility requirements to vote in Virginia is to be 18 years of age, a citizen of the U.S., and a resident of Virginia.
