HHS prepared all summer to achieve victory in games like these.

This past Saturday, the HHS Blue Streaks traveled to Winchester to take on the Handley Judges. The Judges were winning the all-time series 43-28. That record changed in favor of the Streaks after Saturday, though.

Junior quarterback Ryan Nixon threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns, while also managing 54 yards on the ground, snagging a rushing touchdown.

Do-it-all senior Kennan Jordan had two apparent interceptions returned for touchdowns, but the second was called back for clipping. Jordan finished with two touchdowns, including the interception return and a rushing TD.

Senior Weylin Holmes added points to the scoreboard after Nixon delivered a 40 yard bomb late in the fourth quarter to seal the game. Sophomore Jordan Dove had a 26 yard touchdown catch as well.

The Streaks ended the game with a score 32-21. The Streaks are going into their bye week 2-0.
