Debate students advance to state tournament
Saturday, Apr. 6, the HHS debate team competed in the super region tournament in Roanoke.
Advancing to the state tournament are junior Ritt Culbreth (Public Forum), sophomore Hayden Kirwan (Public Forum), junior Jade McCleod (Student Congress), junior Gabe Eshleman (Student Congress) and senior James Henderson (Lincoln-Douglas).
Barely missing the tournament and placing as alternates were seniors Ganna Aboutabl, Sam Heie and William Daniel.
