Streaks host All-District Band, fourteen qualify to audition for All-Virginia Band, Orchestra

Twenty-six students from the BlueStreak Band represented HHS at the All-District Band event. Fourteen out of the 26 students are qualified to audition for the All-Virginia Band and Orchestra.

The BlueStreak band hosted around 275 students Friday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, Feb. 2 for the All-District Band event. Twenty-six students from HHS were represented. Of the 26 students, 14 were are qualified to audition for All-Virginia Band and Orchestra. Auditions will occur in Februray at James Madison University. Those who win a seat in the band will perform in Richmond in April with students all over the state.
