The HHS Media staff poses with the Online Pacemaker Finalist Award at the opening keynote speech by Hilde Lysiak. Freshman Macy Waid had the opportunity to experience her first conference. Hilde was a beautiful speaker. You can tell when someone is gifted at writing and it was so obvious with her. Seeing what she has done so far was inspiring. She is only one grade older than me and has met Malala. It just goes to prove that your age really doesnt matter and her keynote speech really got that point across, Waid said.
