Ella Salzmann is a current freshman at Harrisonburg High School. She’s taking the newspaper 1 course, so it’s her first year in HHS Media. Apart from HHS Media, she’s involved in STEM and the Rock City Regiment marching band. In band she does colorguard, so she learns choreography along with the band to perform at competitions. The STEM pathway she has chosen to partake in is Engineering. She enjoys doing the sport Track and Field. Back in middle school she would run in the 100 meter and 200 meter events. In the spring she hopes to do outdoor track. Outside of school she spends time taking care of and riding horses, reading, and painting.
