The threat of rain pushed the 2014 City-County Track Championships to Thursday, which proved a beautiful afternoon and evening in Penn Laird at Spotswood High. The Harrisonburg Boys were hard chargers all day long, out-scoring the performance list by 20 points. It was still not enough to overtake Turner Ashby, however, who outscored their own predictions to hold off the Streaks 133.5-99. Harrisonburg also came into the meet ranked behind Broadway, who they outpaced 99-61.5.

The Lady Streaks had their own TA Knights to contend with, and needed every point they scored, holding on to their pre-meet rankings and holding off the Knights for a 128.5-125 win, which is their 4th straight City-County Crown.
