On February 2nd, 2014 the two best teams in the NFL will hopefully face off in cold and snowy Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Peyton Manning leads his offense into the Super Bowl and is looking for his second Super Bowl ring and the first Super Bowl win for the Broncos since 1998. The Broncos last Super Bowl win was when John Elway was the MVP and defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-19. Peyton Manning has taken his team to many records including the most passing yards in a single season. John Fox leads his team to the Super Bowl and this is the second time that this head coach has been to the big game, the last time he lost as he was the head coach for the Carolina Panthers to the New England Patriots.

Russell Wilson the second year quarterback out of Wisconsin looks to win his first Super Bowl despite a close home win over the San Francisco 49ers. The 12th man came strong all through the regular season and now will not be a factor in the Super Bowl. The best defense in the league looks to shut down the Broncos and to win their first Super Bowl. The Seahawks have never won a Super Bowl and look to win a first. Pete Carroll in his fourth season as the head coach at the Seattle Seahawks and is now heading to his first Super Bowl game.

Peyton Manning has years of more experience over the second year quarterback Russell Wilson. This is the third super bowl game that Peyton Manning has played in and last one was a loss to the New Orleans Saints. The experience of being in the Super Bowl matters so you don’t choke under the pressure.

Seattle’s defense is the best in the league, but can they handle Peyton Manning and his Omaha offense. In the post season, Peyton has only thrown one interception, which is quite impressive, showing that his offense is the best. Seattle is a running team while Denver is a team that can mix it up, run and spread an offense. If it is raining the advantage goes towards Seattle, but if it is snowing there is no true advantage.

Denver will take home the Lombardi Trophy with a close game coming down until the fourth quarter with Denver pulling it off by the score of 35 to 24. Seattle’s defense will get shut down by Peyton’s passing attack. Seattle makes too many mistakes and has the most penalties in the league. This Sunday when the clock reaches all zeros the Broncos will be the team celebrating on the field and Peyton Manning will have his second Super Bowl ring.
