At a home game for HHS, the varsity volleyball team beat the Rocktown High School Raptors. It was a tight game with the scores being so close. Junior Nora Von Rotz was on the court that night. Rotz has been playing volleyball for four years; her position is outside hitter. Rotz enjoys the diversity of the position and all the things she gets to do.

“I like that I can do, like, all the skills, like that I get to pass, serve, receive defense, block, hit, out of system side, like, everything,” Rotz said.

Freshman Madison Morris was also frequently seen on the court. Morris has been playing volleyball for three years. Morris’s favorite part of volleyball is getting to improve and getting to play the sport.

“My favorite part about volleyball is just like the environment when we score, it’s just super fun, and it’s a really fun sport to play. When you like, learn, and you become better at it, it’s like, really fun advancing.”Morris said.
