Newsstreak Staff interviewed by Poynter Institute on middle school journalism workshops

Newsstreak supervisor Valerie Kibler and select Staff members shared their thoughts in a recent over the phone interview by The Poynter Institute, after a story on Newsstreak’s after school journalism workshops attracted the institute’s attention.
Kristen Hare talked to Kibler as well as seniors Rafael Snell-Feikema and Luke Gibson to gather their perspectives on the importance of offering such a workshop for a pre-high school age group, along with the significance of the Newsstreak philosophy that every person has a story.
