blacklist1The Blacklist is a new drama series that premiered September 23 on NBC. Raymond “Red” Reddington, actor James Spader, is one of the FBI’s most wanted criminals, when he suddenly turns himself in. Reddington claims that it is in his, as well as the FBI’s, best interest to take out dangerous criminals. He will negotiate as long as he only talks to a rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen, actress Megan Boone. He claims he has made a list of criminals that matter the most and that the bureau doesn’t even know exists, The Blacklist.

There have been two episodes so far and I have tuned in for both. The show has some great acting throughout it. The relationship between Reddington and Elizabeth Keen has created a great screen presence. I like how the list of criminals keeps going until they are caught, and then it’s on to the next one. I will definitely be watching episode three next week. The Blacklist airs on Mondays on NBC at ten p.m. EST.
