T.J Butler has been a behind the wheel instructor for about 7 years now with Harrisonburg High School. While driving with student athletes and other students that are involved in activities he thought that there should be a program that can work around the student’s schedule. His program called Butler’s Driving School can operate before school, right after school, and weekends.
The program cost 250 dollars and there are different coupons for signing up with your friends and other things. When Butler first started his school by himself he drove 40 kids in a year. His school now has 7 other DMV certified drivers and 433 students went through the program last year. Butler’s goal for next year is 500 students.
