Review: Live While We’re Young

Review: Live While We're Young

Your hand fits in mine like it’s made just for me, but bear this in mind it was meant to be. And I’m joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks and it all makes sense to me.

The song Little Things by One Direction, although only a preview of the full album, has certainly hit home among their fans, the Directioners. Although the song lacks One Direction’s usual hype and upbeat music, the lyrics makes this song different from any of their previous songs. Describing their favorite attribute about the girl they love, the small things that they describe are enough to make any girl’s heart melt.

Little Things is the second song from their new album Live While We’re Young. Little Things is more emotional yet equally and maybe even better than the first song. The two previewed songs are very different from each other.

Their first album Up All Night, although a great album, contained songs that all talked about the same things: the girls they adore and their almost failed or failing relationships.

The two preview songs offer a new side of One Direction, with a change in the maturity of the lyrics and the music behind them. Also, the change of Harry Styles’ voice definitely catches the listener off-guard.

With more than 10 million views in just two days, their pre-release song Little Things is definitely a hit, and a good sign of the upcoming album from One Direction.
