The division has been very competitive so far as these are the three teams that are 4-2 and racing for the title. San Francisco enters this game with last week’s win to the New York Giants at home.
What Seattle needs to do to win is tear up the secondary with their passing game. I doubt that running-back Marshawn Lynch can walk through linebackers like Aldon Smith and Patrick Willis. If they can get their passing game going along with a couple of big rushing plays, they should be set to go.
San Francisco, on the other hand, has a lineup full of weapons on offense and defense. With their impressive front four defensive linemen, they can create pressure without blitzing. The 49er secondary needs to hold up the passing and rushing attack of Russell Wilson.
Don’t forget that Seattle has defensive line of their own though. Putting up seven sacks against the Green Bay offensive line isn’t easy.
You can call this a very close game. Defensively both teams can put a hold on any offense. But when it comes to who wants it more, I think the 49ers are hungry for a win.
