Glago, Beshoar doubles crowned regional champs, advance to states

Junior Keenan Glago and sophomore Corey Beshoar traveled to the River’s Edge Sports Complex to compete for the Region 5 doubles title. With a win over Patrick Henry in the semifinals, the two moved on to play Albemarle for the championship, winning in two sets 6-2, 6-3. They will advance to the VHSL Class 5 Doubles State Championship, playing on Thursday, June 10th at Huntington Park in Newport News at 3:00 pm. The doubles championship will be the following day at 1:00 pm.

As well as doubles, Glago played for the Region 5D Individuals Championship winning in the semifinals against Brooke Point. He will play Thursday, June 3rd in the championship at 10:30 am in Harrisonburg (specific location to be determined) against Albemarle.
