Due to the recent closing of HCPS schools due to the coronavirus, HCPS will now partner with the USDA Summer Food Service Program to provide bagged meals to students. Breakfast and lunch will be served to everyone under the age of 18. Bagged meals will be served to all students who come regardless of income level. Bagged meals will be served through a drive-through style at various school parking lots on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. These locations include:

• Harrisonburg High School at 1001 Garbers Church Road. Meals will be served at the parent drop off/pick up zone in the north parking lot.
• Skyline Middle School and Smithland Elementary School at 470 Linda Lane. Meals will be served at the bus loop between Skyline and Smithland.
• Thomas Harrison Middle School at 1311 W. Market Street. Meals will be served at the upper bus loop in front of the school.
• Bluestone Elementary School at 750 Garbers Church Road. Meals will be served at the bus loop in front of the school.
• Keister Elementary School at 100 Maryland Avenue. Meals will be served at the parent drop off/pick up zone in front of the school.
• Spotswood Elementary School at 400 Mountain View Drive. Meals will be served at the parent drop off/pick up zone in the back of the school.
• Stone Spring Elementary School at 1575 Peach Grove Avenue. Meals will be served at the parent drop off/pick up zone in front of the school near the gym entrance.
• Waterman Elementary School at 451 Chicago Avenue. Meals will be served at the bus loop in front of the school.

In addition to this, the Mobile Café will also be in service. It will go to the spots it usually goes to during the summer and breaks. These spots include: 

• Spotswood Mobile Home Park at 1715 Country Club Court from 11:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m
• Chestnut Ridge at 181 Chestnut Ridge Drive from 11:25 a.m. until 11:40 a.m.
• Deer Run at 899 Port Republic Road from 11:55 a.m. until 12:10 p.m.
• Mosby Heights at 2510 Mosby Court from 12:25 p.m. until 12:40 p.m.
• University place at 36 South Avenue from 12:50 p.m. until 1:15 p.m.
• NENA Community Center at 505 Broad Street from 1:30 p.m. until 1:50 p.m.
• Harris Gardens at 215 Vine Street from 2:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.
• Dutch Mill and Holly Court at 97 Dutch Mill Court from 2:25 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
