Every Sunday, I love to watch some NFL football, and there is no better way to watch NFL football then on NFL RedZone.
Yes, there is NFL Sunday Ticket and yes, they do give you access to every single game whenever you want. However, RedZone offers a lot more. Here are the top five reasons why RedZone is better than Sunday Ticket.
5. No commercials- This one is self explanatory. The NFL action on RedZone is non-stop.
4. It’s a lot less work to handle- With RedZone, it’s pretty simple. One channel, every game. What more can you want? Any lazy football fan doesn’t have to worry about switching through football games. This channel does it for you.
3. It’s available anyware- As most people know, NFL Sunday Ticket is only available on DirecTV. Well, RedZone is available on almost every cable provider. So, if you don’t have DirectTV, then you’re all set. There’s a full list of cable providers here
2. It costs less- Well, this one really depends on the cable provider. The most expensive one I’ve heard about was $50 a month. However, that STILL costs less. Yes, NFL Sunday Ticket offered their service free this season, but that was only offered to new customers. The Sunday Ticket package costs $334.95 a season. A SEASON! That is what most people would call “a rip-off.”
1. You will NEVER miss a big moment- When I say never, I literally mean NEVER. They make sure you see every touchdown, every big turnover, even every injury. Even if they’re not showing it to you live, they make sure they tell you about it as soon as a break comes on. That’s why the RedZone can have non-stop football action because even if there is a break, they still have something else to show you. Scott Hanson does a good job of telling the viewer what has been going on so the viewer doesn’t miss something big. It’s also what keeps it interesting.
These are five reasons why the RedZone is the best way to watch the NFL. I highly recommend it to any big NFL fan.

Yeah, those teams sort of have to play each other. Still worth it.

Agree with David. $334.95 is well worth it for a season. Think about all the games in a season. 16 games from your favorite team. 32 teams. That’s 512 games. That means you pay a whopping total of 65 cents per game for high quality television

Disagree completely. I bought Sunday Ticket online this year (DirecTV offers it to everyone now, not just DirecTV customers…) and it’s completely worth the cost. If you’re a Redskins fan like a lot of people in Harrisonburg, it might not matter, but I got sick of watching low-quality streams of my Titans and then having it freeze at the most crucial point in the game. Now I get it streamed to my laptop in HD Quality and put it on my TV with an HDMI cable. For people who live out of market, RedZone just doesn’t compare to being able to watch your team’s games in full.
