Zebra Pen Midliner set is worth purchasing

The Zebra Pen Midliner set.

I can honestly say that I have easily spent over $50 on my obsession with pens in the last two years. Now, to most, that may seem like a lot, but when you consider the number of pens in my possession, you would be able to wrap your head around it. When I use the term “pen” I mean anything from a rollerball to felt tip and anything in between.

Now, in these past two years, I have experienced some very, very crappy pens, but I have also had the pleasure of finding my new favorite one: The Zebra Pen Mildliner. It was not until another classmate had these pens in her bag that I thought about making the purchase. I saw these pens at Target and I was not sure they were worth the steep price of ($16.99). I ended up using a friend’s Zebra pens in class and immediately fell in love with them. These “pens” are more like a marker but calling them a marker does not do them justice. They are more than that. They are a double-ended highlighter featuring a broad, chisel tip and fine bullet tip different thicknesses when highlighting or marking. In addition, there is a durable barrel with a cap that fits securely and indicates a highlighter color. I really like the fact that the color indicator is not only on the top but also the body of the pen. I have been using these to highlight my notes and the ink does not bleed through the paper or smear. The pens are actually made for bullet journaling, but I am not that creative. The colors are very subtle and soft so even highlighting pencil works well. They are ideal for note taking, underlying and color-coding. Since i’ve made this purchase, I can honestly say that these writing utensils have encouraged and inspired me to have colorful and organized notes. I highly recommend the purchase, and it is not something that you will regret.
