Water flosser makes reasonable purchase

Phengsitthy uses her water flosser everyday before brushing her teeth. In the following opinion, Phengsitthy recommends five reasons for why water flossers are worth the purchase.

The simple task of brushing your teeth is done daily. This task not only keeps every single tooth clean and spotless, but also keeps the entirety of your mouth clean and refreshed. Although brushing your teeth is required to be done at least twice a day, simply brushing is not enough. Flossing is just as important. Dentists recommend that flossing needs to be done everyday, but of course, not many people have the time to twiddle a piece of string between every single tooth, especially if they want to complete the full, thorough job of flossing. To make things easier for such a dreaded task, the purchase of a water flosser will help tremendously. Here are five reasons for why a water flosser should be on your next purchase list.

Traditional flossing takes up too much time. Taking a small piece of string and trying to get every bit of food and plaque would take a longer amount of time compared to a water flosser. People who still use the traditional flossing method probably aren’t hitting all of the spots. With a water flosser, at least a minute of intense, propelled water aiming between each tooth will do the right job. A water flosser won’t take much time from your day and it will actually get the job done.

Expensive purchase, but lasts forever. Of course buying string floss is way cheaper than an electrical water flosser, but racking up on floss over and over again will add up in the end. I purchased my water flosser for forty dollars, which can seem expensive to some, but it has saved me time each night when I floss. My personal water flosser is wireless, allowing me to take it anywhere and use it anytime as long it is charged. With just adding water to the machine, the water flosser is an automatic easy use that stays good and new as long as it’s taken care of.

Dentists recommend it. The last time I went to the dentist, I had to confess my shameful truth of not flossing as often as I should be. If anyone knows me, I like to follow the rules when asked, but for some reason, flossing was a rule I had a difficult time following. When my dentist gave the metaphor that flossing your teeth is like brushing your hair, my ears opened. She went into detail that forgetting to floss is like forgetting to brush your hair, and the more you forget to do it, the more plaque in your teeth builds and more tangles in your hair start to form. Any recommendation a dentist gives is just as important as a doctor recommendation. They know what’s best for your teeth, and if you don’t believe that, take a look at their teeth the next time you go for a cleaning.

There’s an actual machine cleaning your teeth. To know that I can have an actual machine clean my teeth fully is satisfying. Of course my tooth brush can do the trick of brushing and scrubbing down all of the stains and foods, but the water flosser has the ability to clean it all up within a minute of use and is effective overall.

It’s a refreshing feeling. The feeling of using a water flosser is quite refreshing. Water spraying in between your teeth at a high speed is a good feeling mentally and physically. It’s mentally a good feeling because you know your teeth are getting cleaned, and it’s a physically good feeling because the water is coming out at a fast, refreshing pace. Having your own water flosser can even be adjusted to water temperature you would like to clean at or what speed you would like to use.

It’s no joke that switching from traditional flossing to water flossing will make a difference, but I never recommended to stop using the traditional method of flossing. The purchase of a water flosser will do more than the traditional use of flossing. Save the little box of string in the car for last minute touch ups and use the water flosser at home every night. The one time purchase is worth it because it will last a lifetime. The machine can even include a warranty if wanted. Flossing your teeth is just as important as brushing your teeth. There’s only one way to face the dreadful task of flossing: purchase a water flosser.
