Even though May 9th is more than a month away, students at HHS have already begun to search for the perfect outfit. Adding up the cost of manicures, pedicures, and hair dresser appointments, the preparation for the prom drains the wallet before girls can even consider buying the perfect dress.
So why not get a dress for free? The week after spring break, the Student Service director Monica Johns is offering a chance for that to happen.
“I am encouraging girls to be open to other resources,” Johns said.
After receiving donations from various stores around town, as well as JMU, Johns has collected dresses in various shapes, sizes, colors, and lengths.
Be sure to keep a look out during all three lunches the week after spring break.
