Our school has multiple vending machines, however, students cannot access them until after 2:30, which is when most students leave school.

By having the vending machines open during the day as well as after school, the school can make more money and also the students can enjoy other drinks.

Freshman Hannah Merica is one example of a student who agrees that the vending machines should be open to students and staff during the school day instead of just after school.

“I think [the vending machines should be open during the school day], because people are thirsty,” Merica said.

Alongside Merica, freshman Dominique Castro agrees that the vending machines are only beneficial if they’re on during school hours instead of just after school.

“I think the vending machines should be on during school because some people want a variety of drinks other than water or juice,” Castro said.

The vending machines are great for students and staff to purchase drinks they enjoy instead of drinking the same things every day, but they shouldn’t only be open after school.
