Watching TV leads unhealthy lifestyle
The more time you spend watching TV, the worse your health gets. It’s a simple matter that according to Huffpost, watching TV can make you gain weight, increase your risk for diabetes, damage your relationships, stunt your child’s first works, make you more aggressive, isolate you, make you sleep less and ultimately make your life shorter.
As you sit and enjoy your daily dose of TV, just think about how you are wasting your life away by not only doing nothing productive, but also making your life shorter. If you start to use your brain by doing something creative, you could extend your life and make yourself happier. Kurt Vonnegut once said that “Practicing any art ― no matter how badly ― makes the soul grow,” meaning that you do not have to be good and artsy and crafty to make you happy. It is not an excuse to say “I am not good at art” to not do it. Even if you think that you can not draw a good picture to save your life, try anyways to do something creative instead of wasting your time by watching TV.
I am not saying that you should not watch any TV because it will ruin your life, I am just saying you need to limit the time you spend in front of a screen. It is more healthy for your body if you simply get up and do something other than staring at the TV from the second you get home until the time you go to bed.
You might say that some TV shows are educational, and that is true. However, it helps your brain more to do something creative. It is a simple solution to just stop looking at a TV and draw a picture.
