Cubs fans are the best fans

With the Chicago Cubs making it to the World Series for the first time in 71 years, Cubs fans finally have something good to talk about, when it comes to their baseball team.
The Chicago Cubs have two World Series, which came back to back in the years 1907 and 1908, well before TV or radio was even invented. The only way people knew who won the World Series was if they were at the game in person. With a World Series drought that’s lasted 108 years, many baseball fans have said the team is cursed and would never have the ability to get to the World Series again due to their bad luck. Now, they’ve finally done it. So why are Cubs fan so great?
Well, if you’re a Chicago Cubs fan, you’re probably one of the most loyal sports fans for any given team. It means you’ve hung it out through all the tough seasons, the disappointments, the heartbreaks, and at times, simply the bad luck. There are sports fans out there who may change who their favorite team is because they can’t win, and they choose a team who’s playing well and winning a lot. However, Cubs fans aren’t like that. If you’re a Cubs fan, most likely, you’ve been a Cubs fan for life. What sports fan would stop pulling for a team because they’re losing a jump to a team who hasn’t won a championship in over 100 years?
All current Chicago Cubs fans have stayed loyal to the Cubs, and they come back year after year in hope that they can have a breakout season, win a lot of games, go to the playoffs and have a shot at the World Series. Well, the time has come. The Cubs are in the World Series, with the greatest fans in the world behind them because, just like the team, the fans have been through all the hardships as well.
Now what would happen if the Cubs weren’t able to win the World Series this year? What if the Cleveland Indians slaughter them and take home the championship to Cleveland? Would the Cubs fans lose hope and jump to a different team? Would it be the last straw for all of them? I don’t think so. In my opinion, I think they’ve seen it all and been through it all with their team, and that they love them so much, they will still be just as loyal as they were before.
