From rollerskating onstage to dancing in the isles of the auditorium, students of Skyline Middle School sang to tunes of Schoolhouse Rock.

Their first performance was Thursday night, at 7:00.

Angelee Rios, a girl in the eighth grade who attends SKMS, was an ensemble andsoloist for the musical. She was pleased with the final production and performance, andexcited that each student worked together as a cast.

“I loved the energy which everyone had onstage. We all worked together and made the audience feel enlightened,” Rios said.

Grace Miller is a girl in the seventh grade who enjoys acting, dancing, and singing.

“I love my placement in the show as Elvis. Also, the costuming for each student wasdone very well,” Miller said.

All in all, the students of SKMS were each smiling and looking forward to their next twoperformances on Friday and Saturday.
