The football game for Friday, October 17 is cancelled due to the conditions at Spotswood’s field. According to to WHSV’s reporter Penn Laird, Spotswood has been experiencing several inches of rain throughout the past few days.

The varsity football game will not be playing at Spotswood this evening, rather on Monday night, October 20th, at 7:00.

“I think that we are doing well,” Coltin Aleshire said.. Aleshire is a Freshman at HHS who is also a member of the Varsity football team.

“It gives us more time to work and prepare for Monday’s game,” Aleshire said.

Aleshire believes that the team will be successful on Monday, when the game will occur.

According to the Weatherbug radar, Monday will be mostly sunny allowing the field to be suitable for the football game.

“We will be ready by then,” Aleshire said. He is confident that the team will win against Spotswood during their game on Monday.

Other teammates are determined as well.
