Q: Who or what inspires you to work hard as a basketball player?
A: Coach [Durmount Perry] and my dad.
Q: Why did you decide to play?
A: I decided to play because I love the competition of the sport, the fans and playing post.
Q: How have your coach and your teammates influenced your years of wrestling?
A: The coach and team influenced me and had my back throughout the years I played high school basketball. During practices we all pushed each other for the best.
Q: Describe your favorite memory/moment in wrestling.
A: My favorite memory was when we had the holiday tournament. I got to hang with the team and compete.
Q: How have you grown in the past four years of playing?
A: I have grown by foot stance and through conditioning.
Q: Do you want basketball to be involved in your future?
A: How? I don’t want to be involved in playing, but I would love to be involved with helping kids like going to basketball camps or clinics.
Q: What will you miss about being on the basketball team when you graduate?
A: I’m definitely going to miss the crowd that would come to the games and the cheering. I will miss the silly practices we would have on a good day and I will miss the team meals and bonding.
