“My plan is to go to Blue Ridge Community College, do two years, and transfer to a four-year college. I want to become a doctor. It will be hard, but I am so determined to make my dream come true. My happiest moment from HHS is that I have met a lot of people who care about me. Specifically, Mr Lamb has worked hard for me this year to make sure I graduate. Also, I did “Hairspray” and met a lot of friends. All of them were so good, cared about me and made me feel like I am at home. High school has prepared me well for college. I have learned a lot. I have only been here for two years and all the classes that I have taken are all pretty much the ones that I need to graduate and go to college. Being a senior, you have to be serious. Applying to colleges and finding scholarships, you don’t want to wait until the last moment. When the counselors and other teachers are telling you to do stuff like filling out the FAFSA, you have to start. Make sure you are doing it in advance. If you have an opportunity to take classes that will help you in the future, you should grab that opportunity and not just ignore things. School is important in life. If you have a dream go for it. If you are not sure what you want to do, try things out to help you choose.”
