“I am leaving on the 16th of June for the Army to become a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator Maintainer, which involves building and working with Internet satellites to communicate with one another. It will include computer coding, cyber security and a lot of computer work. I sought an opportunity to try out college at an early age and realized that it wasn’t for me. I am drawn to the physical fitness and leadership aspects of the Army and the ability to try new opportunities and travel. JROTC opened my knowledge towards looking into the Army and allowed me to explore and increase my leadership abilities as well. When looking back at my time at HHS, it’s not just about certain moments but my happiest time is always during the soccer season. To be successful doesn’t always mean that you have to go to college. There is always another pathway to choose from. Don’t be afraid to miss out on anything and focus on the grades because GPA is forever.”
