Toluwani Ola
Toluwani Ola is a junior at Harrisonburg High School this year and is a staff reporter In Newsstreak because this is his first year out in these streets. Toluwani likes to participate in indoor track and tried out tennis last year, only for three weeks, though. In his free time, he volunteers at Sentara RMH Hospital, plays video games (with the boys, of course), likes to learn how to cook new food, watches the occasional show/movie on Netflix and is currently learning how to use video editing software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. His family is originally from Nigeria, but they moved to America in 2007 and have been here ever since. Although he has never left the country, he has traveled to places as far north as Maine, as far west as California and as far south as Florida. You might think Toluwani doesn’t like to talk much but he’s always up for a good conversation. He hasn’t checked out more than three books since middle school, but when he reads, he enjoys science fiction and pretty much anything else that floats his boat.
