The HHS boys tennis team started its season on Friday March 19th at Central High School. The team won all of its matches excluding of the match between the number one players, in which Jack Burden lost 1 to 8. The final result was 8 to1 in Harrisonburg’s favor, giving a good start to the season. The second match was scheduled for Monday, March 22nd. The opponent of HHS was Eastern Mennonite High School. HHS did not hesitate again, winning 7 to 2. All HHS’ double teams won again, giving each duo a 2-0 record after two matches. This week Blue Streaks will travel to Rockbridge and R.E. Lee.
