Imprint magazine starts new year

Imprint+magazine+starts+new+year

Imprint, the literary magazine of HHS, is starting its new year with a new advisor, English teacher Jenn Rose. The magazine features poems, stories, artwork from students.

This year, Rose’s third period creative writing class is in charge of producing Imprint, including collecting the submissions by students and designing the magazine. Rose still looks to Imprint’s previous advisor, English teacher Tracey Barr, for advice.

“It’s great,” Rose said. “We have a really strong staff and we’ve received beautiful artwork and photography, and strong writing.”

The theme for this year has not been decided yet, since the staff of Imprint is still in the process of putting together the layout. It is still in its early stages. After spring break, however, the staff will start planning out the pages and creating the graphics.
