Students work on raku pottery. Photo by Daiki Ishikawa.

March 24th, raku workshop is held in art class. Raku is a type of Japanese pottery that is traditionally and primarily used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Lynn Hilton Conyers who retired from Waynesboro High School come and teach us how to make raku. There are two classes in the day. They use two blocks for one workshop. Each person glazed each raku before the work shop. And they make to be done with Ms Conyers. Each raku has each own shapes. It is really interesting.
